    WHAT DO CHILDREN LEARN IN ROBBO CLUB ROBOTICS COURSES?

    Robotics for children and teenagers aged 5–15
    Robotics is at the heart of the ROBBO Club learning programme. Using the ROBBO Platform and ROBBO Laboratory, children explore technology through structured, hands-on projects. They do more than use devices: with support from a mentor, they learn how technology works and build projects of their own.

    The programme combines three core areas: mechanics and 3D modelling, electronics and circuits, and programming. Children progress step by step, with activities adapted to their age and experience.

    From this foundation, each learner can explore specialist modules and develop an idea into a working project.
    THREE FOUNDATIONS OF MODERN ENGINEERING
    A clear, step-by-step introduction to modern technology
    • Mechanics and 3D modelling

      Children explore how shape, movement and structure work together. They create 3D parts, learn the basics of mechanics and design components for their own projects. This develops spatial awareness and practical problem-solving skills.

    • Electronics and circuit design

      In the ROBBO Lab, children work with real electronic components. They learn how circuits function, how sensors and actuators interact, and how to read and create simple circuit diagrams. This helps them understand how technology comes to life in a safe, guided environment.

    • Programming

      Programming brings every part of a project together. Children develop algorithmic thinking, control devices with code and understand how systems and software work. It is a practical step from simply using technology to creating with it.

    TECHNOLOGY AND CODING MODULES

    Specialist courses for exploring key areas of the digital world.

    Alongside the core robotics programme, we offer focused modules that help children develop specific skills. Each learner can choose an area that matches their age and interests and progress at a comfortable pace with support from a mentor.
    Python
    Students become familiar with one of the world’s most widely used programming languages. They create simple programs, algorithms and games while developing logical and structured thinking.
    Unity (Game Development)
    Students learn to develop video games with Unity. They explore design, interactive logic and programming while creating their own 2D and 3D projects.
    Minecraft Education
    Minecraft becomes a learning environment where children practise coding and algorithmic thinking, create worlds and automate processes through projects with clear goals.

    3D Modelling and Printing
    Students design 3D objects and bring them into the physical world through printing. In the process, they develop spatial awareness, precision and engineering thinking.
    Arduino
    A hands-on introduction to electronics and microcontroller programming. Students create interactive devices, work with sensors and learn how electronic systems operate.
    Artificial Intelligence
    A clear, age-appropriate introduction to artificial intelligence. Students explore the basics of AI, data and algorithms through practical and responsible activities.

    Learning, creativity and technology in short, engaging formats

    At ROBBO Club, we organise technology workshops and events for children, teenagers and families. These practical, enjoyable activities let participants discover new technologies, create projects and share an educational experience.

    • Themed workshops
      We organise workshops in electronics, 3D modelling and printing, Minecraft coding, construction and design, along with other activities adapted to the participants’ age and experience.
    • Family games and events
      We organise quizzes and technology activities for the whole family. Children and adults can take part together, learn and solve challenges as a team.
    • Technology-themed birthdays
      We host birthday parties at ROBBO Club or at a venue chosen by the client. Our programmes combine technology, games and workshops and are adapted to the children’s age and the event format.
    • Holiday programmes
      During school holidays, we offer intensive programmes lasting two to five days. Children develop projects, explore new technologies and study a topic in depth through hands-on workshops.
    • Programmes for organisations
      • We create tailored programmes for companies, schools and other organisations, including one-off educational entertainment sessions, multi-session programmes and joint activities for children and parents.

    How classes work

    At ROBBO Club Barcelona, children learn in a spacious, fully equipped centre in the heart of the city. We offer afternoon classes on weekdays and classes throughout Saturday.

    We work in small groups organised by age and experience. This gives every student personal attention and helps them progress safely in mechanics and 3D modelling, electronics and programming.

    The programme runs throughout the year. New students can join at any time: the mentor adapts the first activities to their experience and learning pace.

    Families choose ROBBO Club because their children learn programming, design and robotics through practical, age-appropriate projects. Mentors explain each step patiently, respect every student’s pace and keep families informed.

    Developing essential skills

    Every ROBBO Club project develops skills that are useful in and beyond the classroom: logic, algorithmic thinking, the ability to find and correct errors, and the perseverance to take an idea through to a finished result. Students also learn to communicate, collaborate and take responsibility step by step.
    • Purposeful screen time instead of passive entertainment

      At ROBBO Club, the screen is a tool for creating. Children use computers to design, program, test and improve their own solutions. They learn to use technology consciously and actively instead of simply consuming games or videos.

    • Learning to think, not memorise

      Activities develop logic, algorithmic thinking and the ability to analyse and correct errors. Children learn to look for solutions, test results and complete their projects—not merely follow instructions.

    • Teamwork and project-based learning

      In team projects, children share ideas, divide tasks and find solutions together. The mentor guides the process and ensures that everyone takes part, helping students develop communication, responsibility and respect for one another’s work.

    • A foundation for future careers

      ROBBO Club builds a broad foundation in engineering, computer science, programming and digital technology. We do not push children towards early specialisation; we help each child discover their interests and gain confidence to keep learning.

      The modular system allows students to join throughout the year. Before assigning a group, we consider each student’s age and previous experience. If they have already studied robotics or programming, we assess their level so they can continue without repeating material or missing important steps.

      Each module combines theory and practice, with clear goals and progression adapted to the group’s pace.

    DEVELOPING TECHNICAL CREATIVITY

    In a welcoming environment with mentor support, every child can develop their first project with confidence.

    Themed workshops, the Scratch Olympiad and the ROBBO Festival give students new goals: create, improve and learn to present their work to others.

    In class, students do more than use ready-made kits. They also design and build their own solutions with age-appropriate educational materials.
