ROBBO CLUB BARCELONA SUMMER CAMP ATTENDANCE RULES
🤖 SUMMER CAMP ATTENDANCE RULES — ROBBO CLUB BARCELONA
1. GENERAL INFORMATION AND TIMETABLE
Address: Via Laietana 45, 6th floor, door 2, Ciutat Vella, 08003 Barcelona.
Opening days: The camp operates Monday to Friday on working days and is closed at weekends and on public holidays.
Standard activity hours: 09:00–13:00. Each morning includes two or three intensive technology workshops in robotics, coding or 3D modelling, with recreation and snack breaks.
Early drop-off service: To support family schedules, students may arrive from 08:30. This is a paid service and must be booked with the administration at least 24 hours in advance so that staff availability can be confirmed. Payment must be made before the relevant week begins or directly to the club administrator on the day of use.
Punctuality: Please bring children 5–10 minutes before the standard start time, between 08:50 and 08:55, and collect them promptly at 13:00. The centre does not provide supervision outside the scheduled or separately booked hours.
2. FOOD AND SNACKS
What we provide: Students receive drinking water and a light, healthy snack of fresh fruit, normally apples and bananas. Juice and Lotus biscuits may occasionally be offered.
Food from home: If your child needs a more substantial breakfast or snack, please provide it in a suitable lunchbox.
Refrigeration: Perishable food brought from home, including yoghurt, cold-meat sandwiches and dairy products, must be handed to the administrator on arrival for refrigerated storage.
Allergies and intolerances: Parents or guardians must notify the administration in writing of any food allergy or intolerance before the child’s first day at camp.
3. SAFETY AND EQUIPMENT
Equipment care: Students work with valuable technology equipment, including microcontrollers, laptops and 3D printers. A compulsory safety and equipment-use briefing will be provided on the first day.
Material responsibility: In accordance with section 5.1 of the accepted Terms and Conditions, parents or legal guardians may be held civilly and financially responsible for intentional damage or damage caused by gross negligence by the minor, subject to applicable law.
Personal belongings: The club is not responsible for the loss of or damage to personal devices, expensive toys or jewellery brought to the centre.
Mobile devices: Mobile phones, smartphones and tablets must not be used during workshops. Devices must remain stored in backpacks and set to silent mode. Students may check them only during breaks. In an emergency, parents can contact their child through the club’s telephone number.
4. DROP-OFF AND COLLECTION
Students will be released only to their parents, legal guardians or persons formally authorised on the registration form.
If another person, such as a grandparent, carer or relative, will collect the child, or if an age-appropriate student is authorised to leave alone, the parents must send prior written authorisation by WhatsApp or email. The authorisation must include the full name and DNI/NIE number of the authorised person. Without written confirmation, the child will not be permitted to leave the centre.
5. HEALTH AND EMERGENCIES
Health: Only students in good health may attend. If a child shows clear symptoms of illness, including high fever, persistent cough or stomach illness, the administration may refuse attendance for that day to protect the rest of the group.
Medication: Camp staff cannot administer medication, including painkillers, fever reducers or antihistamines, on the basis of a child’s verbal request or a telephone call. If medication is essential during camp hours, parents must deliver it personally to the administrator with a written request and a copy of the prescription.
Emergencies: In the event of sudden illness, accident or injury, the administration will contact the parents immediately and, where necessary, call the emergency services on 112.
6. CONDUCT
We promote an environment based on respect and equality. Physical or verbal aggression, bullying and persistent disruption of classes are strictly prohibited.
Where a serious or repeated breach of conduct rules endangers the safety or wellbeing of other participants, the club may terminate the child’s participation. In this case, fees for the remaining days are not refundable, subject to mandatory law.
7. CANCELLATIONS AND ABSENCES
Under section 3 of the Terms and Conditions, a full refund of camp fees is available only when cancellation is notified in writing at least 48 hours before the booked period begins. Late cancellation and non-attendance are not refundable.
